Company says new site is response to demand for eastern Europe road services
Maru International has officially opened its doors on its new depot in Braintree Essex.
This new depot has been seven years in the making and was brought about by increased demand for their Eastern European Road Freight services in the South of England.
With this new facility, Maru is looking to expand its existing client base by offering new secure warehousing opportunities for local and national business and improved receiving, handling and delivery facilities.
Added to this Maru will look to increase the service profile over time to include western European road freight services and sea and air freight consolidation services.
The new site has been a long term project for the senior management team at Maru and represents part of the ongoing strategic development to offer a more complete service for all new and existing customers.
Maru management felt the timing was perfect in light of a burgeoning client base and increased demand for its Eastern European Road freight service.
Richard Grimes, UK Sales Manager, said: “Maru Braintree represents a tremendous investment offering superb new facilities and business opportunities in the South. This is a significant milestone in the Company’s history and forms part of our ongoing development to offer improved infrastructure and services across the UK.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers old and new for their fantastic support and hope we can continue to provide them with competitive freight solutions whatever their business needs maybe.”
